Nothing on this site is paid for by a brand. The trek time, the repair bench, the nights we spend in teahouses that never comp a room — that comes from readers. If a note here saved you a bad jacket or a stomach bug on the trail, this is where you can put something back.
You do not need to send money to be useful. Trail conditions change fast: a bridge out on the Langtang route, a lodge that stopped serving food, a warmth rating that no longer matches the bag in the shop.
